Section 8-514.03 of the Arizona Revised Statutes was amended to establish kinship foster care services for children who have been removed from their homes and are in the custody of the Department of Child Safety. The program aims to place the child with a relative or someone with a significant relationship to the child. Kinship Care parents may qualify for financial support, including benefits for foster care and temporary cash assistance.
